How much RAM does a Hytale server need?
Hypixel's official minimum is 4 GB. 4 GB is fine for a small friend group on a light world. 8 GB is the sweet spot for most servers, and 12 or 16 GB suits modded or busier communities. Do players need to install mods?
Server plugins generally run on the server. Upload a trusted .zip or .jar to mods/ and restart. Some mods still need a matching client install — follow each mod's page instead of assuming the server pushes files to every player.
How do I get started and invite friends?
Pick a plan, checkout, start the server, and finish Hytale Link when the panel asks. Then copy the server address (IP and port) on Overview and send it to your squad. Dedicated servers do not issue Join via Code share codes. They own the game, connect with Direct Connect, and you're in the same world.
Do I need to install anything or open ports myself?
We handle the server runtime, networking, and provisioning. You pick RAM and a location, then finish Hytale Link so players can join.
Can I migrate my Hytale world from another host?
Yes. Upload your world files through the panel or SFTP, or ask support for a free migration. Worlds, configs, and mods come with you. Match the Early Access build and you're set.
Does Hytale support crossplay?
Early Access launched on Windows PC. Mac and Linux clients are planned by Hypixel Studios. Anyone on a supported PC client can join your server once they own the game.
