Where are my saves?
Save and close the game. Press Windows + R and paste:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\JagexLimited.Dominion_srxstwq7wczqa\SystemAppData\wgsBack up the whole folder, then choose a copy. Include container.* files to help identify backups.
Accepts folders, standard unencrypted ZIPs, extensionless saves, .xav, .wgs, .wsg, and .sav. Up to 128 MiB per save / 256 MiB per import.

How do I convert a Dragonwilds .wsg or WGS save to .sav?
Choose a copy of your Windows WGS folder, a ZIP, or a save file. Check the detected world and download its .sav. WGS is the folder name; many saves have no extension. Changing a file extension alone does not convert the compressed data.
Are my saves uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion happens on your device. Save files, world names, player IDs, and paths are not sent to berrybyte. Share copies only the public tool link.
Can I move a world from Xbox Series X|S to a dedicated server?
Yes, after syncing it to the locally installed Xbox app version on Windows with the same Microsoft account. Dragonwilds supports Xbox Play Anywhere. Once the world appears on the PC, copy its WGS saves and convert them. This extraction is a community workaround.
Can I convert a PS5 or Nintendo Switch 2 save?
No supported world-export route is available for PS5 or Nintendo Switch 2. Their console backups do not provide the WGS or .sav file this tool needs. Jagex supports crossplay, so you can join a compatible server, but that does not transfer your existing console world.
Does converting a world also transfer my character to Steam?
No. Character saves are separate, and player IDs stay unchanged. Join with your existing Xbox character and check its progress after migration. A new Steam character does not inherit your Xbox character’s levels or inventory.
What does the converter validate?
It checks the supported Xbox wrapper, decompressed size, checksum, SAVE structure, world metadata, and output name. World bytes stay unchanged. Keep your backup and check the world in a matching game build; file checks cannot verify gameplay.
