paldb.cc gates wild Pure Quartz rocks at Mining 3. A pickaxe breaks them by hand. A Metal Pickaxe or a Refined Metal Pickaxe clears the mesa faster. Assigned Pals need that Mining 3 threshold. After the 1.0 Work Suitability rescale, Digtoise sits at 4, Anubis at 6, Astegon at 7, Aegidron at 8. Astegon already lives in these mountains.

Game8 also lists smaller Pure Quartz pockets at Mount Flopie Summit (28, -50), Mossanda Forest (211, -133 and 286, -102), and Verdant Stream (150, 151). Those help a first Circuit Board. The Astral mesa still fills a chest.

Craft Cold Resistant Metal Armor or a later cold set before you linger here. Astral nights punish light resistance. Pack a heater once you plant a Palbox. Fire Pals on Kindling keep the camp livable.
Garden Beneath the Cliffs is the statue. From there, fly north onto the mesa and break every pale crystal. Same session, hop to Land of Absolute Zero and sweep -256, 392, then the tower entrance at -134, 575. A flying mount makes the elevation change cheap.
Bring a Mining 3+ Pal on the team so the rocks die while you loot. Astegon is the local specialist. Digtoise still works if that is who you have.
Automated production
Plant a Palbox so -209, 250 sits inside the radius. Feed Box, beds, a heater, and a chest next to the crystals keep miners on task. Nodes come back on the world’s collection timer. Dedicated servers shorten that interval with CollectionObjectRespawnSpeedRate in PalWorldSettings.ini. Pocketpair labels it a respawn-interval multiplier, so 0.5 pulls rocks back sooner. The Pure Quartz Quarry is the Ancient Technology building that makes quartz at any base. paldb.cc and IGN place the unlock at technology 52 for 5 Ancient Technology points.
