Using the converted world
A Java-to-Bedrock conversion downloads as a ready-to-use .mcworld file; open
it directly in the Bedrock client. A Bedrock-to-Java conversion downloads as a
world folder: upload it to your berrybyte server through Files and point
server.properties at it, or replace your existing world/ folder with it.
Create a backup before uploading or replacing a world on a live server. If anything doesn't come across cleanly, you can restore your original files.

Frequently asked questions
Is Chunker free to use?
Yes. Chunker (chunker.app) is a free web tool built by the HiveMC team, and it doesn't require an account.
How long are Chunker's download links valid?
30 minutes after the conversion finishes. Download the result promptly, or you'll need to run the conversion again.
Does converting a world bring over player inventories?
No. Player inventories and entities (mobs, dropped items, and so on) don't transfer. World files, level settings, dimensions, containers, and in-game maps do.
Can I convert a world from Java to Bedrock and back again?
Technically yes, but repeated round trips can accumulate small inconsistencies since the two formats aren't identical. Keep a copy of the original world before converting.
