What do you need for an Enshrouded PS5 server?
Each player needs the PS5 version of Enshrouded, an internet connection and PlayStation Plus for online multiplayer. The PlayStation Store listing confirms the subscription requirement. Renting a server does not include the game or PlayStation Plus.
The owner also needs access to the berrybyte dashboard. A phone or computer can manage the hosted server; you do not need to leave either device running while your group plays.

How to set up an Enshrouded PS5 dedicated server
- Open Enshrouded server hosting and choose the PS5 server option. Check the selected platform before paying.
- Choose enough player slots for everyone who will be online at the same time. Use the current plan selector for available sizes and prices.
- Pick a location close to most of your group and complete checkout.
- Open your server in the dashboard and let installation finish. Start it if it is offline, then give the first world time to load.
- In Settings → Game Settings, set a recognizable server name. Set your player passwords under Access & Roles, keeping the Admin password separate from the one you share with friends.
- Share the exact server name, connection details and player password privately. Confirm that everyone has updated the game before joining.

How to join an Enshrouded server on PS5
Open Enshrouded on your PS5 and go to the multiplayer Join screen. Open the dedicated-server list and look for the name your server owner gave you. Select that server and enter your player password.
If it does not appear, check that the list is showing dedicated servers and that its filters are not hiding your world. The server must have finished starting, and it must be configured for PS5.
Use the connection details shown in your dashboard if the game offers an address search. Keep the supplied port with the address; replacing it with a default port can point to the wrong server.

Does Enshrouded have PS5 and PC crossplay?
No, not at the 1.0 launch. A PS5 player cannot join a PC server, and a Steam player cannot join a PS5 server. Changing a password, port or server location does not change that.
Keen says it is working on cross-platform play but has not given an estimated release date in its launch FAQ. Choose a server for the platform your whole group is using today.
Why can't I find or join my PS5 server?
Work through these checks before changing server files:

How to switch an existing server to PS5
In the dashboard, open Settings → Game Settings → General & Chat and set Player platform to PlayStation 5. Save, then restart the server. The setting was previously labelled PS5 Mode; enabling it has the same effect.
Choose PC / Steam to switch back. Only players on the selected platform can join. Take a backup before changing an established server, and check save compatibility with support before moving a group between platforms.
Can I move an existing world to a PS5 server?
Ask support to check the source platform and save compatibility before replacing any files. Our PC world-upload instructions are not a promise that a local PS5 save can be exported, or that a PC world or character can be transferred to PlayStation.
