Create your first server

Create a berrybyte server by choosing a game, server type, region, plan, and billing cycle. Sign in before checkout, then follow setup from My Servers.

A new server takes one guided checkout and a short setup. You choose what to run and where to run it; berrybyte handles the rest and gives you the controls and join address in the dashboard.

Pick your game

Go to berrybyte.net and press Start your server, or open a specific game's hosting page. The catalog covers Minecraft, Palworld, Rust, Valheim, and 20+ others. Can't see yours? Open a support ticket with category Question and tell us which game you want.

Choose the server type and region

Select the server type or modpack offered for the game, then pick the location closest to where most players live.

Choose a plan

Depending on the game, plans are sized by either RAM or player slots. Start with the recommended tier if you are unsure; you can change plans later.

Follow setup in My Servers

Checkout sends you to the dashboard. A Setting up card tracks progress and opens the server automatically when it is ready.

Server setting up

If Setting up has not progressed after 10 minutes, open Support in the dashboard and press Open a Ticket, or use View support ticket if the card already linked one. Choose Server Issue or Billing so staff can see the same subscription and server context. See Getting support.

Connect and play

Open the server when setup finishes and press Start if it is offline. Copy the join address from the server overview, then use your game's direct-connect screen or server browser. The exact steps differ by game; for Minecraft Java, follow How to join a Minecraft server.

Most servers finish setting up within a few minutes. If Setting up has not progressed after 10 minutes, open a dashboard Support ticket from Help Center, or use View support ticket if one was created automatically.

Can I change my plan after buying?

Yes. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades also apply when confirmed, but the server must be offline first.

Which payment methods can I use?

You can pay through Stripe with a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal.
