How to host a Cobblemon Delta server
Run your own private Cobblemon Delta server for friends, see how it differs from the public server, set up voice chat, and fix version problems.
Use the Cobblemon Delta server hosting page. It opens with Cobblemon Delta, Fabric, Minecraft 1.21.1, and the starting RAM already selected.

This is your own private server, not the public Cobblemon Delta server. To play on the
public server, add play.cobblemondelta.com in Multiplayer instead.
What your own server includes
Cobblemon Delta is the Cobblemon mod plus about 50 quality-of-life and performance mods. About half of them run on the server. The rest only change things on each player's screen, like maps and menus.
The public Cobblemon Delta server adds a lot on top: raids, gyms, the GTS, shops, land claims, and events. Those run on that server, not in the pack. Your own server gives you plain Cobblemon survival with friends, with no shared economy or strangers.
Create the Cobblemon Delta server
Open the Cobblemon Delta page
Go to Cobblemon Delta server hosting. Check that the pack name is Cobblemon Delta.
Choose a plan and location
Start with the RAM shown in the server details. Pick the region closest to most of your friends.
Finish checkout
Keep the pack attached. berrybyte installs the pack's server-side mods and Fabric.
Wait for the first start
Open Console and wait until startup finishes.
Install Cobblemon Delta on each computer
Install the pack
In the Modrinth App, search for Cobblemon Delta and install it.
Match the server's version
Pick the exact release shown in the server details. The pack updates often, so don't update your copy until the server does.
Set memory and launch
The pack creator suggests 4 GB for the game. Set it in the Modrinth App, then let Minecraft reach the main menu before you add the server.
Join the server
When Console shows the server is ready, open Overview and copy Server address. In the Cobblemon Delta profile, open Multiplayer, add the server, and paste the address. Include the port.
The pack's server list may already show the public Cobblemon Delta server. Make sure you join the address you just added.
Set up voice chat
Cobblemon Delta includes Simple Voice Chat. Voice needs its own UDP port, apart from the game port.
Add a port
In your dashboard, open Network → Allocations and create a new allocation. Note the port number.
Set the port
Open config/voicechat/voicechat-server.properties and set port= to that number.
Restart and test
Restart the server and join. If the voice icon shows a crossed-out plug, the port isn't reaching the server yet.
The Simple Voice Chat guide covers more fixes.
Update Cobblemon Delta safely
Create a backup
Open Backups and save a restore point. It keeps your world and Pokémon data.
Stop the server
Wait for the world to finish saving.
Change the whole pack
Use Overview → Modpack → Change and pick the new Cobblemon Delta release. Don't update Cobblemon by hand.
Update every player
Move each launcher profile to the same release, then start the server.
Fix common Cobblemon Delta problems
A player sees a mod mismatch. They usually have a different Cobblemon Delta release or another Cobblemon pack. Match the version in the server details.
Voice chat shows a crossed-out plug icon. The voice port isn't set or isn't
open. Check that port= matches the allocation, then restart.
Players expect gyms or a shop. Those belong to the public Cobblemon Delta server. Your own server runs the pack's mods only.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the official Cobblemon Delta server?
No. This guide is for running your own private server with the Cobblemon Delta pack. To join the public server, add play.cobblemondelta.com in Multiplayer.
Will my own server have raids, gyms, and the GTS?
No. Raids, gyms, the GTS, shops, and land claims run on the public Cobblemon Delta server. They are not part of the pack, so a private server won't have them.
How much RAM does a Cobblemon Delta server need?
Start with 4 GB for a small group. Only about half of the pack's mods run on the server. Move to 6 GB once several players explore at the same time.
Does voice chat work on a Cobblemon Delta server?
Yes. The pack includes Simple Voice Chat. Add a UDP port under Network → Allocations, set it as port= in voicechat-server.properties, and restart.
Can Bedrock players join a Cobblemon Delta server?
No. Cobblemon Delta is a Java Edition modpack. Every player needs Minecraft Java Edition with the same pack installed.
